Description

Learn how to dermaplane and micro needle. Dermaplaning is a procedure to create smoother skin. It works by removing the very top layers of your skin where there is evidence of scars, fine lines, and some blemishes from sun damaged skin. Dermaplane is a treatment where the surface of the skin is skimmed using an exfoliating blade. As well as the top layer of skin, it also removes the hair. Micro needling is a cosmetic procedure. It involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The small wounds cause your body to make more collagen and elastin, which heal your skin and help you look younger

Course Overview

  • 10.00am - 1.00pm Dermaplane - Overview, theory, demonstration, practical, Q& A

  • 1.30pm - 4.30pm Micro Needling - Overview, theory, demonstration, practical, Q& A    

 

During the demonstrations, you will be shown how to handle the tools correctly and how to undertake the treatment efficiently. During the practical sessions, you will be given the opportunity to practice on each other and complete a full treatment on a model.

You will be learning the following techniques

Important Info

Students must be at least 18 years of age to attend. You will receive a Welcome Email from SYWL within 48 hours of purchasing your training from Capital Hair & Beauty. The email will explain your learning journey, give you access to the manuals to complete your mandatory pre-course theory and complete questions to return prior to your training day. You will work on each other and models throughout the training day.

Please arrange for models to arrive for each practical session (12.00pm for Dermaplane and 3.30pm for Micro Needling). Following completion of the training course, students will also have access to online theory portal and support, Facebook and WhatsApp groups providing support for life.

 

Equipment Needed For In Store Practical - All products and equipment are supplied for the duration of the course by your educator

  • 1 derma plane handle, 5 blades
  • 3 rollers 1 of each size
  • 1 SYWL cleanser, 1 SYWL toner, 1 SYWL balm, 1 SYWL SPF
  • 1 of each SYWL Serum
  • 10 disposable wash cloths
