The Greatest Night in British Hairdressing!
Come with us to the Wella Trend Vision Awards.
With more than 700 guests in attendance, the Wella Trend Vision Awards were a feast for the eyes. Taking place along the banks of the Thames River, overlooking the stunning London skyline, the night was all about celebrating the best in British hairdressing.
An annual competition, the Wella TVA preparation started earlier this year with an online photographic entry and culminated with this prestigious evening where some truly iconic and creative looks were on display. Hosted by the legendary hair-up maestro Patrick Cameron, alongside Fergal Doyle, the night was packed with creative showcases from the likes of Wella artists such as Cheynes, Cobella, Francesco Hair Salons, Hob Academy, Lara Johnson Lifestyle, Nikki Clifford from NJUK, Simon Tuckwell and Stil.
On the night, radio presenter, Elspeth Pierce, delivered the Virtual Broadcast, wherefans tuned in from around the world to experience the hairdressing magic and before it all started Patrick Cameron said: “I have been amazed by the enthusiasm and skill of the finalists, and I am confident that there’s a huge amount of talent that’s going to be championed tonight. This is your night, and you deserve every moment of success.”
TrendVision Award winners received some incredible money-can’t-buy prizes: a tailored education development plan for the winner and their salon, including a professional photoshoot and digital content creation session, plus lots more. To see the full list of winners visit wella.co.uk/trendvision.
The Little Princess Trust
Also in attendance on this wonderful night was the Little Princess Trust, a charity that is supported by Wella and is dedicated to working with children with cancer, providing them with hope and hair.
Phil Brace, Chief Executive of The Little Princess Trust, said: “The relationship with Wella Company UKI creates a phenomenal platform to amplify our message, generate much-needed hair donations and influence fundraising.”
Leaflets, posters and window stickers promoting The Little Princess Trust’s work have been sent out to hundreds of Wella salons to promote the partnership and Phil, alongside LPT Founder Wendy Tarplee-Morris, has addressed Wella staff and Wella clients to tell them how they can support the charity’s work for children with cancer.
Max Amen, Managing Director of Wella Company UKI, said of the new partnership: “Working closely with the Wella Community, we are committed to making a significant impact to children and young individuals battling hair loss due to cancer treatments and other illnesses, while also funding vital research into childhood cancers to aid the ongoing fight against these devastating diseases.”
